I have been looking for Jerry Baker's books at a reasonable price for years. This was a great deal and I was able to share them with my sister who is redoing her back yard. I had friends that raved about how great this guy was.
I received a flier for this book and the price was about 7 times as much.

Great book. Has lots of stuff that I couldn't possably keep in my head. Now I can just go to the book to find great solutions. Most of them are green solutions, which makes me happy. I think I will keep a supply of baking soda and vinegar always on hand!Delivery was fast.

I was hoping some of the recipes and suggestions would work, but so far, not much luck! I tried the all purpose cleaner on my floor and it made a smeary, dull-looking mess. I tried the alcohol on the poison ivy in my flower bed and it seemed to thrive; sprayed it 3 times! I am getting disgusted and don't want to try anything else. All I do is waste my "supermarket" products. Most of the "fixes" I already knew about but I think I would rather purchase an all in one cleaner from the supermarket!!

I ordered this book as a Christmas gift for my sister. After it arrived I decided to take a peek at it before wrapping. I couldn't put the book down. It is so very readable, I love the format. The household items are listed in alphabetical order and many uses for each item are given. I love the triva listed in the book and the tips for recycling household items that you would normally toss in the trash. I told my sister I was keeping that book and giving her a different one, but let her look at the book first. She loved it and kept saying, "I have to have this book !" I ordered another copy so we both could have one. My husband even enjoys the book since he loves trivia. THe book is so easy to read, kind of like a magazine format.

What a great book! All the helpful hits you would ever need. If it's not in this book it most likely doesn't exist.
